Dose rate adjustment to orchard growth stage is a clear objective for reducing PP identified by the parliamentary mission "Pesticides and agro-ecology: the fields of possibility - 2014" and transcribed in the Ecophyto II plan. In recent years, the work carried out within the framework of the national collaborative project PulvArbo has made it possible to highlight the possibilities of reducing the doses of products applied in apple orchards. These possibilities vary according to the orchards (table apples, cider apples), their growth stages and their sanitary context. The objective of this guide is to transfer to table apples and cider apples producers as well as technical advisors the most recent knowledge acquired through research and experimentation to reduce the doses of fungicides and insecticides. This guide is based on the synthesis of 35 trials evaluating the biological efficacy of different methods of dose adaptation in apple orchards. These methods use indicators that were defined from the monitoring of 260 apple orchards located in the French production basins.
