Description

The PulvéDrone project aims to study the agro-environmental performance of spraying drones to contribute to their potential authorisation in France. The current development of drones offers new alternatives for crop protection on steep slopes, where current techniques are risky for operators. The project is based on experiments carried out in controlled environment as well as in the field to study the quality of spraying, the drift generated during application and the operators' exposure. In this way, PulvéDrone will provide the most complete evaluation of this technology to authorities. Advices on technical improvements about spraying, application conditions and flight procedures will also be provided.
